Roy Pizzirusso

Roy Joseph Pizzirusso, age 67, passed away September 30, 2014 in Prescott, Arizona. Roy was born April 9, 1947 in Newark, New York to Angelo & Angeline Pizzirusso. He was raised there and attended schools there. He had worked with Ford Motor Company as a partsman most of his life. Roy came to Arizona in 1982 and breifly moved to Las Vegas where he met Stacy Glover and after a whirlwind romance they were married 2 weeks later, just celebrating their 29th anniversary on June 1st of this year. They moved to Yarnell in 1998. Roy was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and active in Post #79 in Yarnell. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. Roy enjoyed a good game of pool and was always seen in his red Jeep CJ 7. Roy and Stacy lost their home in the Yarnell fire and were among the first to begin rebuilding. Roy is survived by his wife Stacy of Yarnell, son Jay C. Pizzirusso of Newark New York, and a sister Patricia MacWilliams of Newark, New York, and many friends. He will be truly missed. A Celebration of Roy's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the Mule Shoe Animal Clinic at 19225 S. SR 89 in Peeples Valley, AZ.
