Rusco Long

Rusco G. Long, age 87, passed away June 11, 2012 in Youngtown, Arizona. Rusco was born June 6, 1925 in Hartford, Connecticut to Rusco Long, Sr. and Myra Howarth Long. He had worked a good part of his life as a rancher. He married Vetra Adams Redford in 1966. They came to Arizona in 1977 first to the Sedona area and later to Wickenburg in 1993. They has lived at My Father's Retirment Ranch in Wickenburg prior to moving into Youngtown in 2005. Rusco was an accomplished artist and had done numerous oil paintings, mostly western themes. He is survived by step-children David Redford of Laguna Niguel, Ca. and Tara (Paul) Maull of Santa Maria, CA and 2 grandchildren, Christopher Edmonds and Darren Redford and 3 great-grandchildren: Nick, Julian & Maggie Edmonds. A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 13th in Youngtown.
