Ruth Camella Goulet, 89 , passed away on March 17, 2015. She was born on October 27, 1925 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Oscar and Hilma Olson. Ruth grew up in Minnesota. She graduated from Bemidji High School in 1943. She also graduated from Northern Business College in Bemidji in 1944. Ruth married Eugene Goulet in 1946 in Minneapolis. They were happily married for 50 years. She and her husband, who was an executive chef, owned and operated a number of restaurants in Minnesota, California, and Arizona. She also worked in the mortgage industry in Arizona for twenty years and retired in 1985. They loved to travel and volunteer in the community. Ruth volunteered for Desert Cabelleros Western Museum, Wickenburg Community Hospital, and was the Redeemer Lutheran Church secretary in Wickenburg for a number of years. Ruth is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Bruce and Sherrie, Ronald and Dee, and Mark and Ching. She is also survived by her daughter Ruthann Kirkpatrick and her brother Orville (Bud) Olson. She has 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Rosetta, Clarice, and Naomi, husband Eugene and son Larry. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 450 Rose Lane, Wickenburg, Arizona at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 515 East Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014.
