Sandra Amaral

Sandra Jean Amaral , beloved mother, grandmother, sister & friend, passed away with family by her side, at her home in Wickenburg, AZ, on December 16, 2014. Sandy, also lovingly know as "Mimi" was raised in Tucson, AZ by her parents RD & Ada Leona Tennyson and her adopted parents John & Jane Schultz. She will be remembered and missed by many as she took in numerous children: Liana, Michelle, Amanda, Alana, & Nikki just to mention a few and treated them as her own! She was a generous and kind spirited woman whom we were all lucky to know! Next to her big heart she would be known for loving to country-western dance and all of the beautiful treasures she brought for her friends and family! She worked for many years in the real estate business in Tucson Arizona and Wickenburg Arizona. She also worked in the fine antiques furniture business in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. She was instrumental in starting the Optimist Club here in Wickenburg Arizona. In the most recent years she split her time between Prescott and Wickenburg, AZ. Mimi is survived by two daughters, Tonja Amaral-Temerowski ( Ed Temerowski ) of Wickenburg and Sabrina Vella of Mt Prospect, Illinois, & 1 stepdaughter Jamie ( Jason ) Tafoya of Concord, CA. And six grandchildren, Ada Temerowski of Wickenburg Arizona, Cameron , Morgan , & Melena Vella all of Mt Prospect Illinois, and Angela & Anthony Tafoya of Concord, CA. Three siblings including; twin sister Sonja Green of Wickenburg Arizona, sister Barbara Simmons (fiance MC Holliday )of Tucson, AZ , & her brother Benny Hughes (sister-in-law Betty Hamm ) of Wickenburg AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Texas, New Mexico, Missouri, & AZ. Private family services will be held at a later date.
