Shane Waddell

Shane Robert Waddell, age 26, passed away September 3, 2010 in Tempe, Arizona. Shane was born May 22, 1984 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was raised in Durango, Colorado and Wickenburg. He attended schools here in Wickenburg at Vulture Peak Middle School and later Wickenburg High School. Following his schooling he enlisted in the U.S. Navy stationed on the USS John C. Stennis serving in various parts of the world. Following his military service Shane returned to Arizona and attended Farrier School in Tucson after becoming certified he worked in between Washington State and Arizona. Just recently Shane had enrolled in school to become a diesel mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting & fishing. Shane also was bull rider and a member of the PBR Professional Bull Riders and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association as well as the Western Outdoorsmen. Most important in Shane's life was spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Candice Reinke Waddell, father John H. Waddell of Wickenburg, mother Cathy Waddell of Tucson, brothers Matt Waddellof Paradise Valley & Jason Wing of Wickenburg and a sister Jennifer Seets of Scottsdale. Memorial Services were Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00PM at Wickenburg Funeral Home with a reception to be held at Cowboy Cafe following the services.
