Shirley Lohmann

Shirley Irene Lohmann, age 84, passed away June 30, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. Shirley was born December 6, 1930 in Ontario, Canada to John & Sarah Puskas. She worked as a medical secretary for 30 years. She and her husband Gerry retired to Wilhoit from California in 1996. Mrs. Lohmann had been active in the community, being instrumental in creating the Wilhoit Public Library, where she donated a great many books and served on the board of the Southern Yavapai Fire Department and Ladies' Auxiliary. Surviving is her daughter Tracey Lohmann of Wilhoit, her sister Mrs. Lydia Brills of Texas and a great many nieces and nephews. Her husband Gerry preceded her in death. She was deeply loved and will be missed every day by all that knew her. Private family services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood in Shirley's name, it is truly a gift of life. Otherwise a donation to Yavapai Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
