Theresa Snodgrass

Theresa Ann Snodgrass, born January 23rd, 1927 passed away August 15th, 2015. Theresa was born to Paula & Joseph Kunze in Fargo, North Dakota. After graduating from St. John's school of nursing in 1947 she moved to Phoenix Arizona where she met and married Raymond Snodgrass. In 1960 they moved the family to Wickenburg, AZ. where she was the school nurse for many years. She was a very active & devoted member of St. Anthony's parish. She was a Eucharistic minister and led the local Right to Life Chapter. Her love of travel took her all over the world. Closer to home she loved canoeing the Green River, whitewater rafting the Grand Canyon and going on fishing trips with her pals. She loved to hike and at age 70 she walked in and out of the Grand Canyon in one day with her last hike there at 75. Her greatest love was her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, brothers Arthur and Herman, sister Frances and grandson Joshua. She is survived by her children John Snodgrass, Paula Slack, Thomas Snodgrass (Barbora), Marianne Fritzen, Luann McClure, Mark Snodgrass, and Joe Snodgrass (Jennifer); as well as 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A rosary and viewing will be held Friday August 21 - pending at this time. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 22 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
