Thomas J. Cool passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home in Bagdad, AZ. He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on July 3, 1960 to Dolores Bernadette (Reid) and James Jerome Cool. He was preceded in death by his father, James Cool and sister-in-law, Sharon Cool. Tom is survived by his mom, Dolores (Dee) Cool and six brothers and sisters - Michael Cool, Mary Javor (Greg), Donald Cool (Christie), Janet Cool Corliss (Ken), Jacqueline Brickner (Frank), and Charles Cool (Judy). Also surviving are thirteen nieces and nephews; Lisa Maag and Maria Dobie, Andrea, Daniel, and Eric Javor, Bailey and Megan Cool, Joseph, Katherine, and Luke Brickner, Amanda, Bradley, and Samantha Cool and two grand nephews; Graham Javor and Brody Maag. Tom began his professional career as a landscaper in Phoenix. After a short period of time he returned home to help his parents operate their business, the Pancoast Furniture Co. Inc. After the family business closed in the late 90's he continued to work in the furniture industry for a few years before returning to his love of the desert and warmer weather in Arizona. He worked as a salesman and then in the service department at Bromm's Motors in Wickenburg until that business closed. Tom began working for Freeport McMoRan in 2011 at their Silver City, NM mine as a Mining Maintenance Supervisor. He commuted back and forth from AZ to NM until earlier this year. In order to spend more time with his mom he accepted a transfer to Freeport's Bagdad, AZ mine where he worked most recently. Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg, AZ. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as being outdoors to appreciate nature and wildlife. A Mass in celebration of Tom's life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11am. Online condolences can be submitted to WickenburgFuneralHome.com.
