Toni Brown beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away March 19 th .
She died in her home with her daughters at her bedside at the age of
82. She was fortunate to have 5 great days before passing to say
goodbye to her many friends and family members. She will be deeply
missed by those who knew her.
Toni was a debutante raised in Scottsdale and God Daughter of Barry
Goldwater. She had a lifelong passion for horses and animals. She
started showing horses as young as age 3 showing in New York Rose
Garden, Canada, and numerous shows across the country. She was a
cattle rancher and farmer and very active in the community sponsoring
rodeos, red hat variety shows, school boards, coaching and caring for
her farm and family. Toni and Kemper were honored to have their
ranching story outlined in Arizona Ranchers.
Toni married Kemper Brown in California 1966. She was proceeded in
death by her mother and father, John and Jerry Packham, her brother
John Packham Jr, and her husband Kemper Brown. She was Mother
to Scott, Deborah, Terry, and Stacy Brown and Beverly Allen. With the
5 kids, she leaves behind 8 Grand Children, 22 Great Grand Children,
and as of last week, 1 Great -Great Grandchild.
A very public celebration of her life will be held at the Salome High
School Gymnasium at 1 pm on Saturday. If you knew her, please
