Vern Eudean Gasser, age 88, passed away on December 15, 2017. He was born May 15, 1929 in Driggs, Idaho. As a young man, he graduated from the University of Idaho with a law degree and then served in the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant and Attorney. In 1958, he married Linda Bauer of Durango, Colorado. He spent the next 56 years living in Arizona and practicing law.
Despite his many personal and professional accomplishments his friends and work associates knew him best as a cowboy. He lived a happy, focused life with three dominant passions: family, practicing law, and team roping!
Among the many enduring examples he left for his wife, four children and grandchildren was to work hard and then play hard - in that order.
He retired and lived the last 15 years of his life in Wickenburg, AZ. He will be buried at a private ceremony in Durango, Colorado on December 22, 2017.
His family will forever be grateful for his dedication and loyalty and for a life of opportunities which he provided them. He was beyond a great husband and father.
