Virginia Hensley

Virginia "Ginny" A. Hensley, passed away November 24, 2018 at her home in Wickenburg, AZ at the age of 72. Ginny was born in Chicago Heights, IL on August 13, 1946 to Charles and Marjorie Gaskill. She was raised and attended schools in Chicago Heights. After High School she attended Business College and later worked as Executive Secretary at the Continental Bank.



Ginny met Ronald Hensley and were married November 29, 1969, making their home in Manhattan, IL., she continued working until the birth of daughter, Cynthia in 1973 and in 1974 Ronald was born. The family moved to Phoenix in 1983. Ginny worked with Ron in the family business Electrical Contracting in Phoenix. In 2008 they moved to Wickenburg, she enjoyed the community and was Beloved Unofficial acting Mayor of the Wickenburg Dog Park. She enjoyed the dog park and met many friends there over the years. She loved gardening, her dogs and most of all being a grandmother.



She was preceded in death by Son, Scott in 1984. She is survived by her husband Ronald of Wickenburg, daughter Cynthia Marie Hensley, son Ronald Allen Hensley, Jr., grand-daughter Abigail and brothers Charles Gaskill of Tucson, AZ and Warren Gaskill of Lancaster, PA.



A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Family suggest any memorial in her name be made to AML Leukemia Society.
