Wayne Still

Lloyd Wayne Still passed away June 6, 2011 in Surprise, Arizona. Wayne was born December 22, 1933 in Estill County, Kentucky to Ambers Still and Edna Byrd Still. He was raised in the Irvine area and attended schools there. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Following his military service he lived in Southern California where he worked in manufacturing at Davis Wire Company for years. Wayne later moved back to Irvine, KY where he began working as a long haul truck driver for years. He came to Arizona in 2007 to be near family. He was also a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #3708. Wayne is survived by his children: Cathy Still of San Bernardino, CA, Barbara Lynn Still and Buddy Still both of Los Angeles, CA, and Kenneth Still of Whittier, CA, sister Jean Neville of Salome, AZ, childhood friend Chester Scenters of Irvine, KY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 1:30PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
