Wesley Bodiroga

Wesley (Uncle Wes) Bodiroga (05-12-1920 ~ 10-03-2012) Uncle Wes died on October 3, 2012 @ 92 years old in Surprise, Arizona with his family with him. Wesley Bodiroga was born to Simo and Mila (Mijanovich) Bodiroga at Sayers Station, Arizona on May 12, 1920. He had an older sister Stella and four brothers Obren, Louie, George & Pete who have all preceded him in death. They moved to Wickenburg when it was time for Stella to start school and Uncle Wes lived there in the same house since that time until moving to Surprise July of 2011. In January 1942 when Uncle Wes was 21 he started working @ Rancho 7 Restaurant and Lounge and retired in March of 2010. Many people he met thru the years called him Uncle Wes even though they were no relation to him. Uncle Wes never married but was very instrumental in the lives of his sister Stella's children: Erlene Rubash, Debbie Zerby & Howard Dixon. He loved all of his nieces and nephews as his own. Uncle Wes was the most Social person of the Bodiroga family and loved meeting people any time, anywhere and his hometown of Wickenburg. He loved taking care of his peacocks, turtles and other animals. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
