Willard Hall

August 8, 1922 — January 18, 2014

Willard G. " Bill" Hall, husband of Donna Hall and long time resident of Wickenburg, passed away January 18, 2014. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts August 8, 1922. The eighth child of John P. and Frances Hall. He received his early education in Lowell, Mass. Attended St. Anselm's in Manchester, N.H. and graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. Degree. He then joined John P. Hall Co. Liquors. From 1948-1971, he owned and operated several liquor stores in the Lowell area. He and his wife Donna, the love of his life for 66 years, were married September 21, 1947 at St. Laurence O'Toole Church in Lawrence, Mass. and made their home in Lowell, Mass. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Gail (Wayne Gibson of Spokane, Washington, grandson Robert (Ann) Nelson, Jr., of San Diego. Granddaughter Betsy (Curtis) Norsen of Bend, Oregon, great-grandchildren: Aiden, Jack and Tate of San Diego and Harper of Bend, Oregon, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He and his wife Donna first came to Wickenburg in 1969. They enjoyed the town and climate so much that after enjoying vacations in Wickenburg, they bought a home in 1971 and have lived in Wickenburg permanently since 1981. Services and interment at St. Anthony of Padua Columbarium will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Bill's memory be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg.
