William Bass

William Lewis Bass, age 71, passed away January 23, 2015 in San Diego, CA. Bill was born June 10, 1943 in Henderson, Nevada to William Bass and Lenore Krummel Bass. Bill's grandfather was Capt. William Wallace Bass, who blazed the first trails into the Grand Canyon. His mother and father were part of the Wickenburg History as an accomplished photographer and former owners of La Siesta Motel and Kelly's Cafe. Bill has been disabled all his life and has lived in a care home in San Diego for years. He is survived by his cousins Rodney & Joann Rasmussen and Carla & Charles Stedwell. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
