William Ekins

William Allen Ekins, age 71, passed away at his home in Peoria, Arizona. Bill was born April 7, 1949 in Montebello, California to William H. & Betty Ann Ekins. He attended schools there and later served in the U.S. Army. Following his military service he completed his schooling and began working as a systems analyst in the aerospace industry. He retired early for health reasons. Bill is survived by his wife Linda of Peoria and children: Ryan(Sarah) Ekins of Provo, UT, Kristine(Chris) Mitchell of Surprise, AZ, Gavin Ekins of Washington, D.C., Dianna Ekins of Brooklyn, NY, and Sara (Todd) Castillo of Tucson, Az and 17 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Peoria North Stake building at 22034 N. 83rd Ave. in Peoria with a visitation 1 hour prior to services at the Church. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix, Az.
