Bill was born August 10, 1934, in Abington, PA to William Henry and Elizabeth Ellen Nuneviller. He moved with his mother and sister, Louise to Wickenburg, AZ in 1945. Bill attended Wickenburg schools and enjoyed playing basketball. He loved cars and trucks; many of his mentors were truck drivers who taught him how to drive the big rigs. Bill loved the outdoors and living "out west."

Bill was a proud veteran who served in the US Army and the AZ National Guard. He successfully completed and was awarded a diploma from the Arizona National Guard Noncommissioned Officers School. He served on the Wickenburg volunteer Police department, the volunteer Fire department, was a member of the Lion's Club and various other community organizations. Bill spent the majority of his working career at PERA Club, retiring from Salt River Project in 1990. He owned and operated Re-NU Building EQ and RE-NU Towing Service in and around Forest Lakes, AZ. Bill enjoyed hunting and had several trophy heads from Africa. He spent his retirement years enjoying family, traveling in his RV, working on the Apache Junction property, restoring his pick-up with his son Bill, rebuilding an engine with son Doug for his corvette, keeping our "gear" running and in general, enjoying life. He will be remembered for his love of family, kindness, integrity, hard work, sense of humor and other qualities too numerous to mention.
