William Sichi

William F. Sichi, age 77, passed away September 25, 2011 in Youngtown, Az. Bill was born January 3, 1934 in Bel vernon, PA to William & Mary Sichi. The family moved to Arizona when Bill was 12 years old and he attended schools here and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving from 1954 to 1957 during the Korean War. Following his military service he returned to Arizona and began working construction living in Page he worked on the construction of the Navajo Generating Station. He later worked for the Arizona Dept. of Corrections for 20 years prior to retiring. He then moved to Congress and was elected Constable in Yavapai County. During that time he supervised people with community service hours working at various locations in the area. He was custodian of the Congress Cemetery for years and also a member of the American Legion at one time. Bill enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Norma of Congress and brother Michael of Congress as well as children: Bill Sichi of Phoenix, Scott (Pat) Baker of North Phoenix, Kelly (Ron) Anderson of Phoenix, and Kimberly Garcia of Chandler, 6 Grandchilden and 4 great-grandchildren.
